My second paycheck will not be directly deposited into my Patelco checking bank account until Friday on 20_JANUARY_2023 (and that paycheck is approximately $500). Today I bought two over-ear headphones from Target for a total of approximately $50. I am using one of those pair of headphones now as I write to listen to music and sound tracks which help to block out sounds from the environment. The other pair of headphones will be stored in my backpack so that it is in a handy location when the other pair of headphones stops working properly due to being worn out or damaged or else if those headphones get lost or stolen. Lastly, in order to afford a bicycle as soon as possible, I plan to forgo renting a motel room for the next two to four weeks so that I can use the money which I would otherwise be spending on a motel room to purchase a $700 bicycle and bike lock (but I probably will start renting a public storage unit within that time so that I can have maximum security for my physical property instead of leaving that stuff in the car I have been borrowing. Also, the sooner I switch to using a bicycle as my primary commute means instead of driving a car, the less I risk having to deal with car accidents and expenses related to driving a car which I honestly cannot afford using my paychecks alone).
