I like that picture quote meme which Lex Fridman shared on Twitter especially because I really do think that acceptance of reality is the most straight-forward way to maturely adapt to difficult situations. Rather than waste time and money emoting or complaining excessively and on tepid mind control gimmicks, I think that one should strive to channel emotions towards productive outlets and not dwell in the role of victim more than the role of problem solver.
