I plan on taking the Tesla interview phone call in a location which is close to the Pleasanton Department of Motor Vehicles because, after that phone call, I have an appointment to renew my class C driver’s license (and my current class C driver’s license expires on 13_JANUARY_2023). If I am offered the job at Tesla’s Fremont factory, I can easily commute there using BART and walking (and that Tesla factory is within a mile’s radius of the Warm Springs BART station). I have already worked at that factory as a night shift production worker from September 2020 to October 2020 (but I quit because I lacked the survival gear I currently have to make living outside sufficiently comfortable), so I think I am more prepared than ever to resume working in that factory in that role. I strongly support Tesla because it is a company whose ideals and impact I heartily condone. It’s not just about fancy electric cars. It’s mostly about clean energy (specifically solar energy thanks to the Powerwall and photovoltaic roof tiles (i.e. Solar Roof) which can transform a household into a self-sustaining solar energy factory (and perhaps sell surplus electricity back to the PG&E municipal grid)).
