Good news: I have been approved to launch the online training modules as part of becoming an employee at Smart & Final. As far as I can tell, I seem to be scheduled for night shift (but I do not know what my exact shift hours are nor when my start date is but, based on how quickly onboarding is moving along, I think I will be starting within two weeks (though I do not know for sure). I hope to be able to take a picture of my first paycheck from working at Smart & Final to put in the 16B chapter of the Karbytes Journal 2022 section of this website as evidence that I have a job and am gaining financial independence). Tonight I plan on doing the modules at my dad’s house in the garage.
