As far as I can remember, each time I filed new hire paperwork after getting hired at a job I applied for, I was given a “list of acceptable documents” (i.e. I-9 documents for establishing employment eligibility) which looks very similar (if not identical) to the screenshot below and I used my driver’s license and birth certificate for that step in the process.
