I drove to the Nordstrom warehouse interview location and worksite in Newark today but decided not to go inside the building for the interview because I thought the commute was too far and the job and culture was not a particularly good fit for me. A more appropriate job which I applied for today is unloading merchandise at the Best Buy store in Union City because I am more interested in electronics than I am in apparel. (I already completed the first video interview for Best Buy and have a video interview scheduled for Friday with Creator in Fremont (which is a hamburger restaurant which uses robotics to assist human employees in the kitchen)).

Update: I forgot to mention that I have a phone interview with Prologistix in Hayward scheduled on Monday. (See the bottom screenshot for details).

Update: I changed the Creator Restaurant interview time to 1:30PM tomorrow so that it does not conflict with the second Best Buy interview. I also included a screenshot showing the location of the restaurant (which is within walking distance of the Warm Springs BART station).

Update: Lastly, the latest interview I have scheduled is for a cashiering position with the Cheesecake Factory restaurant at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton. Even though earlier I said I would not apply for customer service roles, I am open to some exceptions (i.e. at places I am familiar with and like the atmosphere of (not places like Chuck E Cheese and McDonald’s)).

Note that I will continue applying for jobs and scheduling interviews but related records will not be displayed on this web page (for the sake of moving on to the next chapter of this journal in a timely fashion). The details displayed on this web page are a sample of what a typical job search using the Indeed dot Com website is typically like for me (and I have used that website for over half a decade with modest success (i.e. I was able to get hired at jobs which I applied for via Indeed.com))).
